I always start with my front entrance. It helps set the tone for the rest of the house. I ALWAYS use fresh greenery whenever I can. On black Friday Home Depot always puts their 15′ pine garlands on sale for 5.99 (Normally 15.00). I load up on those suckers and use them EVERYWHERE They’re so pretty. SO for the front door I put a garland around the door, added THIS gorgeous flocked Christmas tree, a vintage crate full of river birch with evergreen branches, and this super cute RUG from Target.
I just love it. So easy and pretty. Next we’ll move on to the front entry way. It’s a really small space so I have to make the best of it. I think it turned out so lovely.
Like I said before fresh Greenery really just makes everything look so much better. I wish I could leave it up all year, not to mention how good it smells. SO after you walk through our entry it takes you straight to the living room. You run into Bradford the bear and our DIY Bar Cart
Isn’t he adorable?? I found him at Target he’s absolutely perfect. Now onto the actual living room.
Our tree is pretty simple but it’s still gorgeous. I just love all of our little ornaments.
For the mantel I started by swagging a real pine garland all the way across it, I then attached some other greenery and pine cones to each end. I found some really cute stocking holders in the dollar section at Target and hung our new stockings on them. Using pine garland is a really simple way to make your mantle look gorgeous. I also had The Beard chop up some river Birch from my dads yard and add it to the basket. SO pretty. The china cabinet also got a makeover. My aunt Roberta gathered all of my white milk glass and other objects I love and put them all in there together. She then swagged the cabinet with pine garland and added some other items to the top of it.The Beard and I found this super cool minnow bucket at a thrift shop we took the inside out and put a poinsettia in it.
Next we head over to the kitchen where I made a little hot cocoa station for everyone. It was so simple and most everything was from the dollar section at Target.
Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you enjoyed our Christmas home tour. I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to my Aunt Roberta and Cousin Amy, if it weren’t for their help I’d be lost! I love you both and thank you so much.
